Anna Sellen is a UK based artist, living and working on the west coast of Wales.
Her work straddles conceptual anddocumentary photography with focus on themes relating to the naturallandscape, climate change and personal histories. Her projects begin inanalogue and digital photography but often expand to other disciplinesincluding video, sound, installation and text to create multidisciplinaryaward-winning work.
The artist has an academic background in Jurisprudence and International Development and graduated from the University for the Creative Arts with a First BA (Hons) degree in Photography.
Her work exhibited internationallyand won awards, including a portfolio award at FORMAT 2021, an RBSA photo prizein 2023 and Sidney Nolan Trust Prize at Earth Photo 2023. In 2023, she wasnominated and shortlisted for New Blood Emerging Art prize, that culminated inan exhibition at Saatchi Gallery, UK.
